Do your muscles ever feel sore or fatigued after a workout?
Do you wish you had greater flexibility? Massage Therapy can help you get the most out of your exercise routine.

Receiving a massage is a great opportunity to take time to notice areas of tightness in your body. Developing a better awareness of how your body feels can help you adjust your fitness routine to avoid injury.

Massage therapy can help…
• Speed recovery time between workouts
• Decrease muscle tension
• Reduce inflammation and swelling
• Promote better sleep patterns
• Calm the nervous system
• Improve postural habits

Massage therapy increases circulation helping to flush out the waste products that can accumulate in your muscle tissue after exercise. A fresh supply of nutrients and oxygen is just what your muscles need to repair themselves. By making massage a regular part of your life you can experience the ongoing, cumulative effects of decreased stress and tension and a greater sense of wellbeing.

MASSAGE THERAPY...
Onsite Chair Massage...
Our well-trained massage therapist will come to your workplace with a portable massage chair. The space required to offer this service is minimal, a conference room, break room, or even a quiet corner will work. Each massage lasts from 10-20 minutes and the employee remains fully clothed. Acupressure and Swedish techniques are applied to the neck, shoulders, back, arms, and hands. The therapist will adapt the massage to meet the needs of the individual. The results of chair massage are immediate including increased productivity and improved employee morale. In these competitive times of deadlines and rapidly changing technology, the need for a quick ‘stress buster’ massage is becoming increasingly important.

Rebecca Goldenthal, LMT

Rebecca Goldenthal received her massage therapy training at The National Holistic Institute located in San Francisco, California.  At NHI she was introduced to both Eastern (Shiatsu & Thai Massage) and Western (Swedish & Deep Tissue) modalities of body work and a wide range of techniques in between.

While still a student at NHI, Rebecca began to build her private practice at a well known Wellness Center located in the heart of San Francisco called Sacred Space.  Rebecca's clients ranged from corporate executives to professional athletes. She maintained her client base at Sacred Space while also continuing to work towards her full credentials at the NHI.

Rebecca Graduated from NHI with high honors, and while she lived in the Bay area continued to work in the wellness field. In 2005 Rebecca moved back to Maine where she has worked in private practice ever since.  Rebecca's modalities include primarily Swedish and deep tissue massage techniques and she operates a corporate on-site chair massage business as well.

She is excited to meet new clients at Health Coaches, and is looking forward to helping people reach their optimal health
